The National Scholastic Press Association presents several prestigious awards to high school students showing a flair for journalism. The Association gives out awards to secondary school publications, too. Honors include: Newspaper Pacemakers, Online Pacemakers, Yearbook / Magazine Pacemakers, Broadcast Pacemakers, Individual Awards (such as Story of the Year, Picture of the Year and Cartooning Awards), Convention Best of Show, Journalism Honor Roll, Wikoff Scholarship, H.L. Hall and Melinda Foys Adviser Scholarships and the RFK Journalism Award. Read more about each award on the Web site. Application forms and instructions for submission are also available on the site.
