Math Kangaroo Winners
This national competition is open to all second through 12th graders. Students take a multiple choice exam and are awarded if they reach any of the top ten places for their grade level. If more than one person receives the highest number of points, there are multiple first place winners. Gift cards and college grants are also awarded to those who participated for at least four years and earned good results. The tests are handed out at participating host schools around the U.S., but students don't need to attend the particular school to take the test. You can find the host school near you on the Math Kangaroo site, as well as more details about the test itself (such as concepts covered).
Other online features include the Math Kangaroo Database, where you can quiz yourself with past test questions, links to more resources on the Web and information about past winners.
