Study groups are a great way to discuss important course topics with classmates, but it's especially helpful to have one study partner you can go to with questions before anyone else. This way, you know that you always have one reliable person you can go to first. Make sure you have his or her phone number and e-mail address, so that you can get in touch with him or her if you have questions at home. Having a study buddy also helps if you are sick or absent from class, because you can depend on that person to get assignments for you and help you with missed topics. Plus, if other members of your study group aren't able to meet, you have at least one person you know will be there.
