If you have a hard time sitting down to do your homework, ask yourself this question: Do I have a place--my spot--where I do my homework?
If you don't, you should think about setting up a homework area. You need a desk (or tabletop) and a chair, a good light, paper, a calendar, pens and pencils and a dictionary. With all your supplies handy, you can focus on what's really important: tomorrow's test, next week's essay and that semester-long journal project.
