Book worm
Sometimes reading a novel can seem daunting or overwhelming. If you make annotations (notes in the margins), it helps when you're reviewing later, and you tend to pay more attention to major themes, patterns and character analysis. In textbooks, highlight key phrases, definitions and facts. Use removable sticky notes if the book isn't yours or you want to remember a certain page. Annotating also comes in handy in class, because you already have topics to bring up in discussion, and the teacher can easily see that you did the reading and are prepared.
